Question: formulate the situation of panchito and his poverty lifestyle would you not have to work and miss school at such a young age?
Answer: I think so because in his family they could use all the money they could get. Also because his father has back problems so it is harder for him to work constantly for his father. It is not necessarily selfish of his mom and dad because with a wage of maybe $5.00 an hour it is hard to support a family of 6.
Question: why do you think panchito's classmates laughed at him when panchito said he was going to sing an elvis presley song?
Elizabeth's answer: My answer to Abigail's question is because he was Mexican and the classmates thought because he was Mexican that he only listened to Mexican music.

Question: put yourself in the shoes of a farm worker youth. imagine working 14 hours in harsh conditions. What would be the hardest thing about this life for you?
Answer: I think the hardest part for me would be trying to get an education and trying to go to college. Another would be trying to study or even just go to school and get good grades to even be qualified to apply for college. If you don't get an education in this situation than you can not get a career that could get a better pay.
question: one of the farm workers kids says, "after all the work is over, nobody remembers the people or the children who worked. the farm worker is forgotten." do you agree with this statement? do those videos change the way you feel about fruits and vegetables? explain.
Answer: Yes I do agree with this statement because as long as the fields get harvested and picked than they do not worry about who and how they get the work done. Yes, it does because I did not know that child labor was so enforced in agriculture and I didn't think it was so many kids I thought only a couple, but I didn't predict this many.
